Hello. I’m a 22 year old science/engineering student living in Cape Town, South Africa. I started this blog to host all my panoramic work, as well as other bits and pieces related to my photography. Please don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions, or are interested in having some 360 degree panoramas created. Lee

I stumbled upon your full moon hike photo and had to check out the rest of your gallery… you have been to some amazing places and I love being able to feel like I am there as well. :) Thank you for the inspiration!

  2. Jon says:

Excellent pictures! Can we get some specs on the camera and method? And they load quickly but look awesome … any tricks on how you posted them?

thanks for sharing the pictures, and details if you don’t mind.

Thanks Jon. I use a Canon 450D and a sigma 8mm lens for most of my panoramic work. The panos are displayed with krpano player which is pretty fast and i compress the files quite a bit for better loading speeds.

Lee this is amazing work – there is so much in it to explore. I particularly like the shot from Lion’s Head, one of my favourite views. Thanks for sharing these.

Hi Lee – stunning Lions Head photo! How long was the exposure? The guys are in sharp focus sharp – were they holding their breath! Great stuff..from a fellow Lion’s Head climber x

WOW! I grew up in SA and lived in CT for 8 years. I now live in Florida, USA. Thank you for “bringing me home” on days I miss beloved Cape Town. Keep posting your beautiful work.

Wow, Lee, these are fantastic! My brother sent me the link to the “Lion’s Head” interactive photo, and like everyone else who has commented, I found myself checking out all of your work that you’ve got hosted :) I miss that view, having moved to Aus 8 years ago. I also never realised my trusty little 450D could do anything remotely like what you’ve done – you certainly have talent!

  17. Sam says:

Wow! Your work is inspring. Great job Lee! How many photos did you have to take to make the Lions Head one?

    Keep up the great work!

Wow Lee!!!I am blown away by this creative stuff you did here… what softwares/programs did u use for the panaromic effects? was there any action scripting? I am really intested in trying some stuff for myself!!! again, very very nice ….stunning

  20. Craig says:

I like your approach. Cool site too, would be rad to work on some concepts together.

  21. Bou says:

Awesome photos. Really nice web design too. Congratulations. Extra merit for being a student (until recently) and not having the time or the money for expensive equipment.

If you do not mind me asking please, which software did you use to compose the panoramic?

Did you use a tripod with special head? I never manage to make seamless stitching when the objects are near the lens. I feel it is because of this last point.

    All the best,

    Awesome pics, Lee!

Just a question, what is the average number of pics you take on a 180 deg panorama and same for 360. Are you using the Sigma 8mm for your 180 rectangular panoramas as well – just curious
